The idea for a website called Helpinggifts.com was created while looking through a church bulletin. As in any church bulletin, there were appeals for donations for charitable projects. It started us thinking of all the churches and charities in the world that are under funded. We don't believe it is because people don't want to give; but it is a matter of budgets and priorities. At the same time, people are constantly buying gifts for others and themselves. It occurred to us that we could utilize these daily transactions to help out an unlimited number of charities.
We wanted to take the concept of giving to a charity a link in the gift buying process and allow a person passionate about their charities to "promote" them to others. We are giving not only to one member's charity, but also to the charity of the person who invited the member to the site.
This is a totally new concept. We are not giving to these charities for the tax deduction. We are giving to these charities because they need it to continue the good deeds they are trying to accomplish.
Helpinggifts.com will not be the least expensive gift website for most products. But our products will be competitively priced and still allow us to contribute a percentage to the charity of your choice. We want to be competitive while still being able to give money to your charity.
